Marklings is back for their second year at the Strathmore Artisans. A school psychologist for more than thirty years in the southern tier, Marcia Lichtman began to devote more time to her artistic side following her retirement. A lifelong sewer and knitter, she has more recently revived a love of pottery born during her college years at Hobart and William Smith Colleges. She also makes, and sells quilled ornaments and gift cards, and enjoys teaching the craft to others. The pre-holiday period is always a busy one but since her daughter and son-in-law moved into the Strathmore neighborhood, she has enjoyed all that it has to offer and is happy to support the Strathmore Speaker Series.
